Silently staring, protector of an innocent killer
Hovering like the silent wraith he was created to be,
Eyes filled with the pain of remembrance,
Ravyn black hair curtains the doorway to the soul that is lost.

His music fills your soul, weeping with the torment of a cursed life,
Diminuendo, Rising, like the oceans waves in all their glory,
A flowing symphony of one man alone, an intoxicating chord of peace,
A medley of sorrow, a sonata of love, and a song of suffering.

A scarred shell of a cadaver, is nothing but God’s abandoned child
Battered, beaten and broken, he is nothing but a shadow,
A fragment of the man he would have been, a boy whose life was cut short,
A living reminder of memories long forgotten.

His footsteps may be silent, never echoing in the quiet nights,
His eyes watch, picking out the wanderers, the creatures, the things,
His voice drifts, caught on the soft breezes the night offers
He is the night, he is the creature gracing the shadows.
