Black sheets of satin silk caress the bodies entwined in the folds;
You and I together in harmony, meeting each other’s demands for love, for of lust,
Eyes filled with the light of love, voices singing the song of passion,
Notes soprano, alto, tenor, bass; blending harmony, rising higher and higher as the rhythm grows faster and faster.
Time was forgotten, all memories and knowledge of the outside world put aside;
We needed an escape, a distraction, something to break us away from reality for the briefest of moments,
You and me; me and you; no one else but us,
Two people who needed nothing but a release.
As the night wore on, our hands roved, seeking a path unknowing,
Needing the reality of touch, the intimate graceful caress of passion
Our bodies meeting each other parry for parry; our voices matched each other in our cries,
Never abandoning each other in our time of need.
Higher and higher, past clouds of joyful abandonment, over the cliffs of reason,
Leaving us time to float back down softly and sated, encompassed in the satin shadows
Crooning soft words of quiet love, misty passion, sated lust in each others ears;
While our eyes glistened with the soft sated loved glow.
You turned to me, as you left and only offered a name to remember you by,
A name amongst a million feelings, a name amongst a world of uncertainty,
With reassurances that I wouldn’t be alone, that I wouldn’t have to be afraid anymore;
Asmodeus; your name; the name I could tuck away in the folds of mine black heart.
